• The group arrives in Colombia, in the heart of the coffee region in the city of Pereira, and transfers to the Atardeceres del Café Hotel in Manizales.

• Tour to the Cocora Valley with its impressive wax palms (the national tree) and a tour of the picturesque town of Salento with its typical architecture (8 hours, including transfers)

Tue, 28 Jul 2026

• Today we’ll visit the Otun Quimbaya Wildlife Sanctuaryand take an ecological hike to the 70-meter high Los Frailes waterfall.
• This is the perfect place to connect with nature and be very alert, as the area is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including birds, monkeys, and the beautiful Andean tapir, which with a bit of luck you might be able to spot. (8 hours, including transfers)

• What better way to discover the secrets of one of the best coffees in the world than through a coffee tour learning about the process and transformation of the fruit from tree to cup (2 hours)

• Today the group will travel to the Termales del Ruiz Hotelto enjoy pools with thermal waters from the Nevado del Ruiz volcano and connect with the lush vegetation of the area, as well as the diversity of birds that live there and thevisits of friendly hummingbirds that come to the feeders installed at the hotel (departure time from the hotel to be determined).
